Youth

All middle school and high school students, grades 6-12, are invited to participate in St. Andrew youth activities. Contact Stephanie Raesz, youth director, at stephanie@standrewdenton.com if you have any questions.

Sunday School

9:30am-10:30am

All youth meet in the Den for Sunday school. We begin with a full youth gathering that usually includes breakfast, then separate into middle and high school classes. We also have a corresponding class for youth parents, as well as any other adults who would like to attend. All classes will be using the Imago Dei curriculum developed by Kirsten Trachsel.

Youth Group

The goal of Youth Group is to foster youth connections to each other and to their faith, as well as to provide a weekly time of respite and relaxation from the stresses of the middle school and high school years. Youth Group meets each Wednesday night from 6:00pm-7:30pm, with an extra hour until 8:30pm for high school students. Our time together may include recreation, discussions related to both faith and daily life, mission work, occasional field trips, and games. We begin with a recreation time in the gym followed by snacks and any of the previously mentioned activities in the Den.

Other annual activities include the Toys for Treehouse Christmas mission project, a lock-in for high school students at the end of the fall semester, Youth/Senior Sunday in spring, and an annual mission trip with other Grace Presbytery youth in June.
